The new Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Milpitas boasts 60,000 square feet of space with 49 exam rooms and three treatment rooms. The facility opened August 3, and cost $52 million to build. It is expected to serve as many as 70,000 patients per year.
Services offered include adult/family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, dental clinic and a pediatric healthy lifestyle clinic. It will also house a pharmacy, laboratory and radiology, as well as an allergy clinic. The Public Health Department’s Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) will also have offices in the facility.
Operated as one of seven health care centers under the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, the new Milpitas site will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The pharmacy will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.
