Rotary Peace Fellow Gail Ervin gave a slide show and presentation to the Milpitas Rotary Club on May 14 at the Embassy Suites in Milpitas. Ervin spoke about her recent trip to Asia and her experiences in Nepal and Thailand where she worked to help resolve some of the county’s local conflicts and assisted in freeing some of the local young women who had fallen victim to servitude and slavery.
The Rotary Peace Fellows are leaders who promote national and international cooperation, peace and the successful resolution of conflict, via their own careers and service activities.
