This year’s edition marks the 30th year of providing easy-to-use information that helps people, merchants and service providers connect. It also contains the latest update of the Official City Guide, helping locals discover more about their government and how to make the most of what’s provided through City Hall.
“The fact that we’ve been doing this for three decades shows the level of support there is for the way we approach things,” said publisher Jimmy Chamoures. “People want to cut through the clutter of information out there and get right to what they need, and that’s what we’re dedicated to.”
Chamoures said that in addition to the City Guide, local business and residential listings, the company’s Web site, Milpitasinfo.com, takes the ease-of-use aspect one step farther. Residents can access community news, informative feature articles, classified listings, a Calendar of Events and more, all with just a few clicks of the mouse.
“You can find a restaurant, real estate agent, dentist or doctor or an attorney who is close by, ready to respond to your needs,” he said. “People tell us this is the kind of site they want, the kind of information they want, and that’s why we do what we do. With the kind of support we’ve always gotten and continue to get, we hope to be around for another 30 years.”
