Arithmetickles performed two shows at William Burnett, where students were able to make math fun. The traveling group interacts with kids on stage, adding some happiness to an often-scary subject.
“We just thought it would be fun for the kids,” William Burnett principal Catherine Waslif said. “We’re trying to provide more well-rounded assemblies for our students.”
Arithmetickles, founded in 1996 by ArtsEcho, a nonprofit organization, uses theatre games, pantomime and stand-up comedy to show how people use math everyday.
Waslif said in the spring, she planned to have a physics show for her students.

I twas fun to see all of the children enjoy themselves and learn at the same time! There should be more of these performances assemblies for ALL schools.
I had a great time and the performance was fun and educational. All who attended had a great time, I think all the schools should have this kind of assemble at least once a year if possible.
